Welcome to Multazam. This application is an open, non-commercial Islamic initiative developed as a continuous charity (Sadaqa Jariyah) to facilitate daily acts of worship and guide pilgrims through the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. By using this application, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Nature of Service & License

  • This application is provided 100% free of charge, with no fees, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no advertisements.
  • It is intended solely for personal, non-commercial, spiritual, educational, and devotional purposes. Any commercial exploitation or re-packaging of this application with ads is strictly prohibited.

2. Religious Content & Authenticity

  • Holy Quran: The Quranic text strictly adheres to the certified Uthmani script published by the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex (KFGQPC) in Madinah.
  • Translations & Tafsir: Translations of meanings and commentaries are sourced directly from verified and certified institutions without alteration.
  • Fiqh & Hajj/Umrah Rulings: Rulings and procedural steps are compiled from authoritative classical texts across the four Sunni madhhabs (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, Hanbali). While prepared with rigorous diligence, this material is educational and informational in nature and does not replace direct consultation with qualified religious scholars for individual rulings or exceptional circumstances.

3. Prayer Times & Geographic Boundaries Disclaimer

  • Prayer Times: Calculation algorithms utilize established astronomical formulas according to recognized international standards (e.g. Umm al-Qura, MWL, ISNA, Karachi, Diyanet). Due to local elevation, topography, and sighting conventions, users should always heed local mosque adhans and exercise reasonable precaution.
  • Miqat & Sacred Mashair Boundaries: Geographic coordinates and maps are derived from public datasets (such as OpenStreetMap) and known landmark mosques/signposts. The application is not a legislative body or official surveyor. Pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah must follow the certified physical signs, markers, and regulations erected by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umrah and relevant authorities on the ground.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • The application and all contained materials are provided on an “AS-IS” and “AS-AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
